The book explores the power of touch and feel in the digital age. Print is an enduring force, it excites the senses in a way that no other medium can replicate.
It was produced to showcase Sappi’s many different print finishes including the use of UV varnishes, die-cuts, metallic foils, fragrance varnishes, structured deboss soft-touch laminates and vignette foils.

I worked across 2 campaigns with the team at Vivobarefoot. The first, concepting ideas for a partnership with the LEWA conservation reserve in Kenya. The concept was to execute still life images of the new range of LEWA + Vivobarefoot shoes in a visually striking way by projection of the wildlife imagery from the LEWA reserve onto the shoes creating a interesting clash of pattern, melding the contour pattern of the shoes sole with the different animal markings and landscape of the reserve. The second campaign which I helped concept and art direct is due later this year.

For St James's House, I was solely responsible for the design of this two volume, 600 page book, involving all aspects of design, image resourcing, colour proofing and sending to print.
About the books:
300 Years of Leadership and Innovation is a beautifully presented, fully illustrated hardback book, authored by a team of distinguished academics and award-winning writers. Produced in partnership by the History of Parliament Trust and publisher St James's House, the publication celebrates leadership in Britain and beyond over the past 300 years.
Launched to coincide with the 300th anniversary of the appointment of Britain's first prime minister, Robert Walpole, in 1721, the book celebrates leadership across the full spectrum of British society: from Parliament and Crown to captains of industry and those pushing the boundaries of innovation.
